I love the UFC. I love the strategy, the rivalries, the ridiculous press conferences, the surprise knockouts, the technical submissions and the occasional fighter who celebrates a victory by climbing the cage like an unsupervised raccoon. Mixed martial arts is violent, but underneath that violence is an enormous amount of skill, discipline and preparation. Then there is Power Slap. (...)

End of an era: hawkee.com closes

The dreaded day has finally arrived. Hawkee.com has closed. For years it was a valued resource for irc snippets. Sadly the past few years saw the site taken over by spam bots. I know efforts were made to buy the system but didn't seem to ever get very far. Several people also offered to moderate the site but again nothing came of it. Seeing another of the irc support sites go by the way side is very disappointing. I really hope all those snippets aren't lost forever.

<p>Very few movies, shows, or any other media actually make me laugh out loud. However, Shoresy always manages to do so. Despite knowing next to nothing about hockey and having no interest in watching it, this show has me hooked. While I enjoyed LetterKenny, Shoresy truly stands out to me. You can watch the entire season on Hulu if you have a subscription. Definitely check it out!</p><p>www.imdb.com </p>
