I've been looking around for different ideas on where to mount it. I like the overhead sunglasses compartment idea but think I might try using this:

I've been looking for a way to add rear spotlights. I've ruled out a new bumper with cutouts for them at this time. (maybe later). I didn't want to cut holes in my factory bumper. Addons like this Tow Hitch Lights Addon just didn't appeal to me at all. This was my solution at least for now.

I got some brackets from cali raised and added my rough country light pods to them. I was running them as ditch lights but switched them out for another set of auxbeams mainly so the rear lights would have removable covers. They do stick out some and I am not sure if I will end up liking the look or not. However I do like the result of rear lighting.

What I managed to get done today:

• replaced shifter back light
• did the reverse camera to head unit mod from https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-camera-connection-below-dash.30889/
• added the front jackers from Desert Does It to my front seat
• replaced old amp with a Crunch PowerDriveX 1000 Watt 4 Channel Exclusive Blue A/B Car Stereo. It's a cheaper model but I thought I had a problem with my old Orion amp. I will probably switch it back at some point.
• added a Cerwin-Vega powered 10in sub

I didn't get to all the mods today but there is always tomorrow.
