What a treat, I get to review [AFX]'s merkFX! This fullscript is a great tool for anyone who wants a completely rounded, full script to use in place of the boring [plain] mIRC. Featured in this script, the author has included almost everything one could possibly want in a fullscript. From an mp3 player, quit msg handling, to even a lyric searcher -- this script is jam packed with tools anyone would find useful. I also like the fact that the author has provided for many user-defined settings, such as the switchbar, toolbar and even the titlebar. Provided at the top of the mIRC window is a handy lag checker, which allows for a user to check their laggage to the server.
Upon opening merkFX, I was greeted by [AFX]'s splash screen, and I easily breezed through the installation of key things needed to run the script. The author currently has a module manager, to manage all the various functions of the script, and the user can easily load/unload any 'module' which they do not want to use. I find that very user-friendly. Overall, the script is a great resource for anyone looking for a clean, well-thought out full script, and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fullscript to use.
