I admit it. I’ve have neglected my sworn duties by not filling you in on my SSDD life. What have I been so busy doing you may or may not ask. Work mostly. Kids mainly. Trying to find any time for myself lately has been a monumental task. What little time I have snuck away, i’ve spent scripting. YES NEWS FLASH I’M ACTUALLY SCRIPTING AGAIN WITH SOME REGULARITY. Mainly because david (The Gate Keeper) was kind enough to give me an advanced copy of his stand alone connection to test to destruction. Can’t say enough good things about his work or him as a person. I do feel a litle like a traitor, as i’ve been such a die hard vincula user/supporter. I guess i’m not big on change either. haha couldn’t tell that from my techgear designs huh. Tonite the kids are in bed and i’m up playing with some old msn stuff. Just thinking back on all that’s happened in my online life. Some good. Some bad. But overall i would say it’s be very rewarding so far. I dug the three scripts that I think most affected the msn public script world. At least in the early days. There are a few more I could mention but Backlash by sysop doc, Godzilla by lucifer, and 8-ball by toast were the the three that stood out in my mind. I dusted them off and updated their connections and cookie grabbers mainly just to see how far scripting has come since those days. In some sense it’s jumped leaps n bounds. In others it’s just the same ole same ole. It’s always nice to take a look at the past to put things in perspective I think. I had a nice trip down memory lane regardless. Nite faithful readers.
