This weekend I made the step into “the 21st century”. I was finally able to get dsl in my area. Well actually, I have been able to get it for awhile. It’s just that my local phone company didn’t have my line set up correctly. So it said I was not able to get it although my line would support it. Anyways I tracked down a local repairman and asked him about it. He asked me where I lived and after I told him he said it would be no problem. He would fix me up. The next day Hurricane Katrina hit. Needless to say my little dsl problem took a backseat in the phone companies agenda. But hey i had no hard feelings about that.. They had a job to do and people more in need of help than myself. So last week the guy contacts me and tells me he hasn’t forgotten and he will get me fixed up. AND I’M FIXED UP YAYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!1
